Corrib Oil Raises Over €6,500 For Western Alzheimer’s
Corrib Oil successfully hosted a “Tea Day” across outlets in Galway and Mayo to support its long-term charity partner
Corrib Oil, one of Ireland’s leading service station and energy providers, has announced that its “Tea Day”, held recently across its outlets in Galway and Mayo, successfully raised over €6,500 in support of its charity partner, Western Alzheimer’s. All revenues from tea and coffee sales between 6.00am and 11.00am on the day were donated to the charity.
Western Alzheimer’s provides care and advisory services in the community for people and families living with dementia, with day services also offered in centres across Galway, Roscommon & Mayo.
Corrib Oil has been a proud partner of Western Alzheimer’s since 2017 The Tea Days are an example of the partnership’s impact and helps supports the vital work which Western Alzheimer’s does across the region.

Founded in 1987, Corrib Oil currently operates 40 convenience stores with forecourts and 20 fuel depots across 17 counties.
Earlier this year, Corrib Oil announced ambitious expansion plans to more than double its nationwide presence to 100 stores by 2030, creating 1,200 new jobs. As part of its growth, the company has partnered with Wendy’s® to open 10 new quick-service restaurants in Ireland over the next two years, starting with Mahon Point, Cork, this week.
Over the coming years, Corrib plans to open ten Wendy’s locations across the country as both standalone Wendy’s restaurants and Wendy’s locations at select Corrib Oil service stations, creating more than 300 jobs nationwide. Further Wendy’s locations in Ireland will be announced in due course.
Having maintained a 25-year relationship with BWG Foods, all Corrib Retail convenience stores are branded as Spar, while all forecourts are branded Circle K or Texaco, with instore partners including Insomnia, Apache Pizza, Subway and Zambrero. The Corrib Distribution business supplies home heating oil, road fuels, fuel cards and lubricants from 20 distribution sites, operating a fleet of vehicles across the country. The company currently employs a total of 1,200 people and is headquartered in Parkmore, Galway.
Corrib Oil has also launched a new online ordering platform to provide another channel for customers to order domestic home heating oil and gas. This feature allows customers to conveniently order fuel for delivery online 24/7, 365 days a year at www.corriboil.com.
